Twenty-nine tools for tuning a PC setup and checking that the hardware behind it behaves. Aim and sensitivity come first: the Sensitivity Converter carries the per-game yaw constants that make a conversion exact rather than approximate — 0.022 for CS2, Apex Legends and Quake Champions, 0.07 for Valorant, 0.0066 for Overwatch 2 and Call of Duty, 0.5555 for Fortnite, 0.00572958 for Rainbow Six Siege, 0.002222 for Battlefield 2042 and PUBG — lets you lock any three of the four sensitivity and DPI fields and solves the fourth, reports cm per 360 degrees so two setups can be compared across DPI, and ships presets taken from published pro configs including s1mple, ZywOo, TenZ and Aceu. The FOV Calculator solves horizontal, vertical and diagonal field of view from panel size, viewing distance and aspect ratio across 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 4:3 and 3:2, and lists what each of eight shooters defaults to so you know whether a slider is quoted as HFOV or VFOV before you copy a number into it. The Crosshair Generator draws a reticle in a live preview with pro presets and exports it as a transparent PNG. The Resolution Calculator works through the standard ladder from 1024x768 up through ultrawide. Nine more are hardware tests that need nothing installed: the Keyboard Tester lights up keys on ANSI TKL, ANSI Full, ISO TKL, 60%, 65% and 75% layouts and passes n-key rollover once six keys register at once, the Mouse Tester has separate tabs for CPS, polling rate, scroll and drag, the Monitor Test Suite runs dead-pixel, stuck-pixel, colour-uniformity, response-time, backlight-bleed and viewing-angle passes, the Refresh Rate Test measures real frame pacing against the 60, 120, 144 and 240 Hz references, and the OLED Burn-in Preventer cycles pixel-exerciser, colour-cycle, random-noise, pixel-shift and sliding-bar routines on 5, 15, 30 or 60 minute presets. The GPU Benchmark drives a WebGL scene for 10 to 120 seconds, the CPU Benchmark times a prime sieve, matrix multiply, string workload, array sort and a Web Worker multi-thread pass, and Memory Info reads what the browser will disclose about RAM and core count. Gamepad, webcam, microphone and audio-latency testers use the browser's own device APIs, so the stream stays on your machine and nothing is recorded or uploaded. Six of the tools are sim-racing field-of-view pages rather than one generic calculator, because the sims disagree about which angle they are asking for: iRacing, BeamNG.drive and Forza take a horizontal figure, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Le Mans Ultimate and Automobilista 2 take a vertical one, and copying a number between the two groups is what leaves a cockpit drawn at half life size. Each page measures the angle your seating position genuinely covers and prints the value in the units that sim's own settings screen expects, with a triple-screen mode for the three that support it. The Nordic Keyboard Tester is the Danish and Norwegian ISO board specifically - Æ, Ø and Å drawn where they physically sit, the short 1.25u left Shift with the extra angle-bracket key beside it, the L-shaped Enter and a labelled AltGr - and it shows both the physical key code the browser reports and the letter printed on the cap, which is the mismatch that makes a Nordic layout hard to diagnose anywhere else. Three new diagnostics round out the bench: the Dead Pixel Test paints the whole panel one flat colour at a time through red, green, blue, white and black, plus cyan, magenta, yellow and 50 percent grey in the extended run; the Stick Drift Test samples both analog sticks through the Gamepad API for five seconds and reports peak, average and 95th-percentile resting deflection as numbers rather than an impression; and the Click Speed Test runs 1, 5, 10, 30 and 60-second windows, with the clock starting on your first click.

How to choose the right tool

If you are changing games, the Sensitivity Converter is the only tool here that will keep your muscle memory: convert through cm per 360 rather than copying a raw slider number, because the same 1.0 means a different angle in each engine. If you are changing screens, run the FOV Calculator before the first match, then the Resolution Calculator if you are deciding between native and a scaled render target. If something feels wrong rather than looks wrong, start with the Refresh Rate Test to confirm the panel is actually running at the Hz it is set to, then the Input Lag Visualizer, which draws ghost cursors one, two, five and ten frames behind your real one so the delay becomes visible instead of theoretical. For a newly delivered monitor, the Monitor Test Suite is the acceptance check — dead pixels, backlight bleed and viewing angle in one pass — and the OLED Burn-in Preventer is the maintenance routine to run afterwards. If your keyboard is a Danish or Norwegian ISO board, the Nordic Keyboard Tester is the one that draws your actual key shapes; the general Keyboard Tester will report an unmapped key where your Æ, Ø and Å sit. For a controller that wanders while you are not touching it, the Stick Drift Test gives you a figure to quote in a warranty claim, and the Dead Pixel Test does the same for a panel - run it fullscreen before the return window closes. The Click Speed Test is practice, not diagnosis: use the Mouse Tester instead if you suspect the switch itself is double-firing.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the sensitivity converter ask for DPI as well as in-game sensitivity?

Because the in-game number alone does not describe how far your hand moves. Turn speed is the product of mouse DPI, the game's yaw constant and the sensitivity slider, so 800 DPI at 2.0 in CS2 and 400 DPI at 4.0 are the same turn. The converter multiplies all three and reports centimetres per 360 degrees, which is the figure that stays constant when you change game, DPI or both. Lock any three of the four fields and it solves the remaining one.

Are the GPU and CPU benchmark scores comparable to desktop benchmarks?

No, and they are not meant to be. The GPU test renders a WebGL scene inside a browser canvas and the CPU test runs JavaScript workloads, both of which sit behind browser throttling, tab scheduling and driver translation layers that a native benchmark does not. Treat the numbers as a same-machine, same-browser comparison: run it before a driver update and after, or on battery and on mains. Comparing your score against someone else's browser on different hardware is noise.

Can a browser tool really measure my monitor's refresh rate?

It measures how fast the browser is presenting frames, which on a normal desktop tracks the display's refresh rate closely because compositing is synchronised to it. The Refresh Rate Test samples frame intervals continuously and compares them against 60, 120, 144 and 240 Hz reference timings. Expect it to read slightly under the rated figure and to be dragged down by a heavy background tab, a variable-refresh panel, or a browser that throttles an unfocused window.

Do the webcam and microphone testers record anything?

No. Both call the browser's getUserMedia API, which requires you to grant permission and shows the recording indicator your operating system provides. The video preview and the audio level meter are rendered from that live stream inside the page and are never sent anywhere. Snapshots you take in the Webcam Tester exist only in the tab until you download them. Revoking the site permission or closing the tab ends the stream immediately.

What counts as passing the n-key rollover test?

The Keyboard Tester marks rollover as passing once at least six keys are held and registered simultaneously, which is the threshold most gaming keyboards are specified to. Hold a handful of keys across different rows to test it, since cheaper matrix keyboards fail on specific combinations rather than uniformly. The layout selector matters too: pick the one matching your board so the tester can tell a physically missing key from an unregistered one.

Does the OLED Burn-in Preventer actually remove burn-in?

It exercises pixels; it does not repair permanent wear. The five routines — pixel exerciser, colour cycle, random noise, pixel shift and sliding bars — drive stuck or uneven subpixels through their full range, which can clear temporary image retention after a static HUD has been on screen for hours. Genuine burn-in is chemical degradation of the emitter and no pattern reverses it. Run the 5-minute preset after long sessions rather than waiting for a mark to appear.
